Women are “indisputably” better than men, according to renowned male feminist Barack Obama. If the world were run by the likes of Aung San Suu Kyi, however, it would be quite another story. They reinforce the myth that women and men are innately different; that women are biologically programmed to be more cooperative and compassionate than men. Having more female leaders is also completely meaningless if those women simply “lean in” to exploitative systems of power. And it’s infuriating that so many men in power seem to think they never need to apologize.
